Your new role
In this role of Sales Manager at Magna Tyres Singapore you are responsible for acquisition, new business and increasing sales for the product categories OTR & Port Handling Tyres. You will generate revenue by soliciting and obtaining orders and understanding and interpreting the customers’ requirements.
Your main tasks & responsibilities are that you will translate the strategy for short and long term accounts into plans and activities. You will translate the annual sales targets into defined sales plans and drive sales growth and margin in the South East Asian Tyre market. You’ll have your focus on closing business opportunities for the current product range, and you will support marketing activities including trade shows, conferences, and other events. In the role of Sales Manager you will be travelling for about 50% of the time.
What you will need to succeed
In order to be a successful Sales Manager at Magna Tyres Singapore, you have a minimum of 5 years sales experience in a B2B environment. Experience within the industry would be a huge benefit! A bachelor degree (or equivalent) working and thinking level is a must, as well as your fluency in English (written and verbal). You will have good communication skills, are self-assured and persuasive, able to work independently and capable of settings priorities. With a service-minded and problem solving attitude you are loyal, positive and hands-on.
